Angelique Lukacs Obituary

Angelique Lukacs, age 61, of Bernville passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Penn State St. Joseph Medical Center.

She was born in New York City on March 13, 1964 a daughter of the late Dr. Elizabeth Jones-Lukacs Ret. Col. USAF.

Angelique was a graduate of the Notre Dame Academy in Middleburg, VA, earned her BA in English from Trinity College in Washington DC, and her masters in English from Temple University.

She was the Editor for Practical Horseman Magazine for 27 years, and a buyer in Equine Retail, including at FM Browns in Sinking Spring for 30 years.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, David Bailey; a son, Mark B. Bailey husband of Rachel; and three sisters, Amanda Rubin, Laurel Rubin, and Klara Lukacs partner of Kilian Wicks; her eight cats; beloved pony Kiev; and her many friends.

A Celebration of Life for Angelique will be announced in the near future.
