Betty Lou Moyer

Betty Lou Moyer, age 91, of Newmanstown passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at her home.

She was the wife of the late Herman R. Moyer, Sr.

She was born in Bethel Twp. on June 20, 1934 a daughter of the late Robert D. and Eva Mae (Etchberger) Wagner.

She was a graduate of Bethel High School.

Betty worked as an L.P.N. at the Wernersville State Hospital over 25 years.

She was a member of St. Daniel’s Lutheran Church and the Pioneer Hose Co., Robesonia.

She enjoyed traveling, going to the casinos, and attending her grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s sporting events. She will be fondly remembered for being notoriously on time for everything.

She is survived by her companion, Sterling L. Miller; son, Herman R. Moyer, Jr. (Lisa Ann); daughter, Cynthia K. Patches (Timothy); 5 grandchildren, Amy Leonard (Robert), Michelle Niebauer (Andy), Gregory Moyer (Fritzie), Ashley Roberts (Ken), and Angela Moyer Yelk; 10 great grandchildren, Tayler Leonard, Kallei Guildeman, Jenna Leonard, Ty Guildeman, Christian Moyer, Madeline Yelk, Joshua Niebauer, Carrie Yelk, Madison Niebauer, and Jaice Seidel.

She was also predeceased by sisters, Sue Deck and Mary Sherk; brothers, Leroy Wagner and Robert Wagner, Jr.; and step-sister, Jenny Bashore.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 10:30 AM at St. Daniel’s Lutheran Church, 480 Big Spring Rd., Robesonia.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Church

Interment will follow at Heidelberg Cemetery, Robesonia.

Cole Funeral Home, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
